Cricket Australia CEO Nick Howley speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Pak India Fans event at the MCG said CA would love to play their part for India Pakistan cricket.

“We value our relationships with all member states.  We are excited to host Pakistan again,” Nick Hockley said.

“We are also excited to host India,” he said. .

Howley said: “If we can do anything to help India-Pak cricket. I think it’s a case of a reciprocal series in many ways. It is the work of others to make the interactive series possible but if we can help in any way we would be delighted to do so.”

“If there is an opportunity, we will feel good to host the India-Pakistan series,” Nick Hockley said.

“Everyone is looking forward to the Pakistan-India match in New York. We want to see more of these matches. Pakistan India matches are not possible at least in the coming season,” he added.

“The schedule is very busy and complicated. All the people who were here were for the India-Pak match at the MCG,” Nick Hockley said.

Pakistan is set to visit Australia for a white-ball series scheduled for November this year. The tour, which will mark the start of Australia’s white-ball schedule for the summer of 2024-25, will comprise six games in total – three ODIs and as many T20Is – to be played across six venues from 4 to 18 November 2024.

Pakistan will be returning to Australia after a gap of nearly 11 months, after having competed in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, which comprised three Test matches played across Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in December 2023-January 2024.

The three-match Dettol Men’s ODI series will begin on 4 November at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Pakistan and Australia will then play in Adelaide and Perth on 8 and 10 November, respectively. Pakistan last played an ODI series on Australian soil back in 2016, which saw the home side come out on top.
