QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti marked the global “Labor Day” with workers and issued direct orders to resolve their issues after listening to their problems.

On the occasion, he said that the doors of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat were remained open for the public where a large number of people including labors, senior citizens, students and people belonging to the poor segment met the Chief Minister and informed him about their problems.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti issued orders on the spot to resolve the problems.

While talking to the public delegations, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that solving the problems of the people is our first priority in order to establish good governance and improve service delivery.

“Through better governance, the institutions will become more functional and problems of the public will be resolved in a systematic manner based on merit and rules,” he maintained.

He further explained that if the problems of the people to be resolved at the local level, so they would not be crying out for issues to the provincial capital.

Sarfraz Bugti said that the poor people are entangled in unnecessary complications which are unfortunate and emphasized that the officers have to make things easier for the common masses.

The Chief Minister said that the officers and officials who are not working will have to change their attitude, lethargy and negligence in carrying out the legitimate affairs of the people will not be tolerated.
