QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has called the new generation, the future of Balochistan, and told them to acquire education to have leadership qualities and vision in them.

He said Pakistan is currently facing an economic crisis and for this, students should play their role to get the country out of this crisis. Chief Minister Balochistan further added that corruption has wrecked our society and pledged to end it with the help of the education system.

Chief Minister warned his cabinet ministers to refrain from selling job vacancies and said if any minister from my cabinet is found involved neither he nor I will be in the cabinet.

He said strong action would be taken against the job sellers adding that, “there is an education emergency imposed in the province and due to which, the provincial government is going to dismiss 800 absentee teachers from their service.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed these views during the laptop distribution ceremony in the provincial capital of Balochistan at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Thursday.

Chief Minister said the day is not far when the dream of educating Balochistan comes true.

He said the new generation has multiple talents, and there is no doubt of this fact that our education system is outdated. He added that with the help of their identification, we will sort out this issue.

Chief Minister hoped for the change and emphasized the importance of female education as well.

He said there are thirteen lakh children out of schools in Balochistan which is a matter of great worry.

He said 800 teachers do not perform their duties and we are going to dismiss them soon.

He further added that in the majority of districts of Balochistan, schools are closed.

CM Balochistan said there would be no compromise of merit in the province as several schools are being used by influential persons for their use.

Chief Minister Balochistan assured the participants and students to provide quality education to the children of Balochistan while giving an example of the neighboring country India where children are taught to do business in schools.

He concluded that if anyone asks for money for jobs people should record their videos and send them to me.
