“Teachers sow the seeds of knowledge that grow endlessly. In the humblest of classrooms, they nurture the future with passion, dedication, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of education. Teachers are the ones who steadfastly dedicate their lives to students, tirelessly seeking various ways to assist and instruct students for the challenges ahead.

The same applies to village teachers, but they face additional struggles and hard work due to the lack of basic facilities in rural areas. This presents numerous challenges for both teachers and students, who often have to travel long distances barefoot to reach their schools, and sometimes even settle near the school to ensure they arrive on time and share their knowledge. Moreover, they lack proper infrastructure and are often found studying under the scorching sun with a blackboard, alongside courageous students who accept the challenges of education. In such a challenging scenario, it is arduous for both students and teachers, but it’s even more grueling for a teacher who must expend their energy while delivering knowledge to their students. One of these dedicated teachers, Abdul Ghafoor, who taught at Dasht Primary School in Tolaghar, always displayed unwavering dedication to his students. “I was the sole teacher, responsible for teaching various subjects to 200 students across five different classes, each with different subjects. Managing my time to teach all 200 students was a top priority, often requiring me to provide extra hours of instruction after school, even in the evening. This additional teaching time took a toll on my health, but I remained focused on providing a satisfactory education,” says Abdul Ghafoor.Despite these challenges and the lack of facilities, Abdul Ghafoor persevered, saying, “Although the school lacked facilities and well-trained teachers, my sole concern was guiding my students in the best way possible, regardless of the growing challenges.”These rural areas present a myriad of challenges, but a teacher’s commitment to guiding their students is commendable. Growing up in a rural area, I had the opportunity to witness the village’s educational environment for several years. Teachers who prioritize their students’ rights and focus on their comfort provide the best secondary socialization, nurturing students like parents and instructing them for a bright and conscious future.Notably, the results of their dedication are evident in the success of many students who received their education from these disadvantaged villages and dedicated teachers. These students have returned the favor to their teachers with their outstanding achievements.Mr. Mehmood Amir Baksh, who received his secondary education from Government Model High School Turbat, is among numerous other government school students who have competently faced the challenges of competition. Today, he holds the prestigious position of Assistant Professor in the Law Department at the University of Turbat. He states, “I received the best socialization, quality education, love, care, and discipline from my teachers. They taught me the value of hard work and instilled such strong self-confidence in me that I never considered myself inferior to private school students.””The dedication of teachers has motivated me to serve the youth, which is why I chose the inspiring profession of teaching. It has made me capable of representing a large community through my students,” he narrates.Advocate Mehmood Amir and Abdul Ghafoor exemplify dedication and resilience, burning the midnight oil to become as capable as their peers despite the massive barriers that hindered their path to success. Many other students are working just as hard to become equally competitive, and it is essential to consider them. The government should provide basic facilities to reduce barriers to their education, ensuring that they can reach their goals with ease.
