Shahrak is one of the far-flung towns of district Kech located in the Southern part of the province. The distance from Shahrak to Turbat City is approximately 30 kilometers. People of this region are amicable and hospitable as part of their unique culture and tradition.

However, the area lacks basic necessities i.e. quality education, healthcare, proper roads, drainage system and regular electricity.

Health facilities are abysmal. People are compelled to travel for minor medical checkups in Turbat City – via the herky-jerky Link road to the main CPEC road to reach Turbat City.

It is heartening to mention that after several years of arduous await, the construction work of Shahrak Link road has been initiated by the endless efforts of Shahid Gichki.

Shahid Gichki, a prominent political cum social activist conducted several meetings with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman NHA, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Qudoos Bizinjo and many other concerned officers to get the project approved. Despite facing many challenges Shahid Gichki continued to fight for the rights of his people and remained persistent until his voice was heard.

It is further appraised that Shahid Gichki’s love for his people is not limited to Shahrak only he is a well-known figure in the entire Kech district. He is actively involved in various political and social activities aimed at uplifting the living standards of the people of his area.

Shahid Gichki has a vision of transforming the town into a modern and developed region with access to all basic necessities of life.

Shahid Gichki is a man of words. He has made promises to his people, and he is determined to deliver to them. His dedication and commitment towards his people are exemplary.

Furthermore, Mr. Gichki is committed to serving the people of UC Shahrak and improving their lifestyles. Rather than engaging in divisive political campaigning, he is focused on identifying their needs and implementing solutions to address them. His approach has rooted in transparency, accountability and integrity which has earned him the trust and support of the community.

He remains steadfast in his commitment to serving the public and working towards their betterment.

As the election approaches, it remains to be seen whether his message will resonate with the voters, but his dedication to public welfare is a refreshing change from the usual political rhetoric.

To conclude, it is unfortunate that the leadership of the National Party has neglected this area despite Shahrak being their stronghold for three decades. The lack of attention towards development has led to the people suffering and being ignored. However, the approval of the link road by Shahid Gichki is a welcome development and will be crucial for the overall progress of the area. The people of Shahrak are grateful for this initiative and hope that more development projects will be undertaken in the future for the betterment of their lives.
