Seeing the deplorable condition of Kallag, a legendary man named “Sadiq KB” belonging to the same village stepped ahead to show the youth, right way forward and turned the imagination of the villagers toward education and its benefits. He completely revamped the education system of his village.

He contributed a lot to the village and demonstrated a bright future to the villagers and spawned an atmosphere of reading environment in his small village. He educated the illiterate, made the ignorant kind and the arrogant dignified.

However, books, indeed, fill an empty mind with great knowledge and make anyone a different and mature person, this beautiful soul thought of rekindling a reading circle where the people of Kallag would present books. So, first he began the circle with himself, sharing a book, he invited all the villagers to join the circle. Begining, very few people joined him, but by doing this daily, the book sharing craze caught on among the villagers and now teenagers to adults share books in the circle every week. It was a wonderful feat done by Sadiq KB.

Additionally, in this difficult situation of Balochistan, it is very difficult to promote the educational culture to women, especially in the villages where most of the women are confined in cages, but this hero confronted innumerable challenges and eventually has given the freedom of getting education to the women of his village. With a little contribution, he built a girls’ library for the girls of his village where they too could get free educational books.

Eventually, neither the politicians assisted nor the elite, I can say, it is all his efforts behind of a successful educational environment in Kallag. At present, there are two libraries in Kallag, one for females and the other for males and both genders are given equal rights only because of this person. Kallag has completely transformed into a great village and we should also step ahead to promote education in our society like Sadiq KB.
