Najwa Zebian is a Leb Canadian author. Basically, she belongs to Lebanon, she moved to Canada in 2006 at the age of sixteen due to the 2006 Lebanon’s war. She currently lives in Ontario Canada. Zebian self-published her first book in January 2016, a compilation of reflections called mind platter.

She described it a compilation of reflections on life as seen through the eyes of an educate or student and human who experienced her early days in silence. Moreover, Mind platter is well written in golden words in content wise which is showing the real mirrors of life. It is advising you to think deeply about the decisions that you have already taken in your lives and decisions you haven’t taken yet. Similarly, the writer is saying to be yourself, to stay yourself because, happiness are at your finger tips just you need to take the first step. Believe in yourself, dream big, open your eyes, know where you are and be a treasure. Nonetheless, wake up to the darkness because as long as you breath, you learn and as long as you have a purpose you live.

It clears your path and works as a booster to grow stronger. Stop being a follower and choose your destination by your own self, stop listening those interrupting voices around you, listen the most worthy voice that is within you. Furthermore, the writer emphasis to be the real you, never pretend to when you don’t value someone words, never pretend to confess, if you are reluctant inside, you merely need to stay true, honest and be the best version of yourself. Because, pretend to say yes, and willing to say no, it merely means you are ditching your own self and depended on pretending while speaking and sharing your views regarding someone or something. Know the value of your words as well as others before it’s too late. Choose the real beauty, people will always remember your words and deeds after you rather than your appearance that you take care the most, so your kindness, humbleness and respectfulness matters a lot. If you want to get respect, give respect, don’t make someone cry and expect to wipe yours, life is all about giving and taking.
At last but not the least, I want to say that I had a great experience after reading it. Each and every paragraph is full of real words which directly touched my soul. Every page speaks of a difference story and every page number matters whether, young or old whether, male or female can relate to every single page in this book.
This book is playing a huge role to wake you up from a deep slumber to stand again and again after falling so many times, to be hopeful even those dark days of hopelessness. So be yourself, stay yourself, believe in yourself as well as others.
