Muneeb, the student of grade six, failed the recent annual examination and became totally discouraged. No one encouraged him for working hard. He was somewhat weak and became the victim of discouragement, he always thought that he could do nothing as he wanted. However, in his class no one desired to make him their friend because of his tensed look. It made him different from other students. He almost lost his smile; Everyone from his class made fun and used annoying words, “Failed, failed, failed! You are failed, we keep no interest over the fail students.” They utilized these words as a song when Muneeb entered the class. These words further discouraged him a lot.

One day, a new teacher named Sana came to Muneeb’s class. On the very first day when Sana saw Muneeb, he was very impressed by his boffo performance. His outstanding performance made Sana wonder of his failure.

He consulted to the staffs of the school and got much information about Muneeb, shockingly every staff member provided the same statement that he was quite good in the class but why did he fail the annual examination was unidentified.

Once it was a recess when all the students were outside in the ground and playing with their beloveds but Muneeb was sitting under a tree thinking of something. Sana, however, was passing from there suddenly his eyes fall on Muneeb. He came and greeted him. Later on, he asked, “Why are you looking so upset?”

Muneeb replied sadly, “I see other students playing and enjoying except me, no one shows interest to play with me, sir.”

Sana advised, “Hmmm, well, there is one way to build interest among them by playing with you.”

“What is that way, sir?” Shockingly questioned Muneeb.

“Getting the highest marks in the examination can build interest among them and as you know one week is remaining for your annual exam. If you score good marks in the class, then see the magic how they become your best colleagues.” Sana suggested.

“S…Si….Sir…I” Muneeb stammered.

“Yes you!” said Sana.

“But sir, there are many talented students and it looks tough for me to gain.” Stated Muneeb.

“Dear, nothing is tough, our perception

actually makes the work tough. The most, believe on yourself you can do each and everything. They are also students like you. If they can score good marks in examination, why not you. Allah pays off when a person works hard to achieve something. If you keep working hard, I guarantee you will score good marks.” Sana quoted. In front of Sana, Muneeb promised to gain good marks but inside his heart was beating fast.

Sana spent his whole day thinking about Muneeb. He felt bad for him but he wanted to away his tensed look. He strongly believed in him. On the other hand, Muneeb was worried because he has huge respect for his teacher, for his teacher’s happiness he had to score good marks. He thought to himself, “If I don’t score good marks, Sir Sana will be disappointed.”

After that Muneeb worked too hard and paid his all attention for scoring good marks. He prepared a lot.

It was Monday when Muneeb’s first paper was expected to be. He headed to school with his arrival in the school Sana came to him, “Muneeb, take it easy and wish you best of luck for your first paper. Hope you will let your all papers go well.” Wished Sana happily.

His teacher’s motivational words motivated him a lot and he kept working hard for other papers too. One week later, his exam got finished. He started waiting for his result.

Finally, the day he had awaited has arrived. He had his breakfast quickly and went to school. Every student was talking about the result, so was he. Thinking about his total marks made his heart skip a beat. One by one, every student went in the office to take their results.

When Muneeb’s turn came, after what it felt like hours of waiting, the man behind the desk congratulated him for securing the first position in class. When he heard these words. He stood and ran towards his class teacher Sana and hugged; thanked him for motivating and giving his respect back to him in the class. In the next day, every student felt pleasure to make Muneeb their friends.
