As Heavy rains continued in Baluchistan, flood relays caused havoc in various districts of Baluchistan. Quetta to Karachi and Quetta to Sibi highways were affected in many places, land communication was cut off, and more rains are likely to continue this month. However, there are many causes of radiation from rainfall such as excessive rainfall, bursting of dams, settlement of flood channels and poor management.

All the dams built at the cost of billions of rupees broke. The main reason for this was that these dams were not strong enough to hold the water in them and were constructed with poor design.

Dam failures can be extremely harmful, especially because dams are considered installations containing dangerous forces. The strength of dams’ flood relief is much higher than that of normal flood relief. Due to this, there was a lot of destruction in most areas of Baluchistan.

A lot of damage was done in Balochistan due to flood relay, people became homeless due to heavy rain more or less 230 people died in the flood.

People suffered a loss of life and property and the cultivated gardens of the landowners were also washed away in these flood channels.

The PDMA and other social organizations are providing food and many consumables to the people but there are many areas where the supply has been cut off and people are waiting for help. The Prime Minister announced to give twenty-five thousand rupees to the affected families but what can be done in this era of inflation in 25000?

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains continued in Quetta, Sibi, Lasbela, Kalat, Barkhan, Dalbandin, Mastung, Muslim Bagh, Khuzdar, Loralai, Pasni, Panjgur and Othal. While the heaviest rain was in Lasbela. 185, Khuzdar 100, Panjgur 36, Kalat 23, Sabi 21, Turbat 07, Jiwani 03, Quetta 02, Barkhan 01 mm were recorded while due to heavy rains, Kalat, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Doab, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Musakhel. , Shirani, Sibi, Bolan Qila Saifullah local rivers were also flooded, due to which the Quetta Karachi and Quetta Sibi highways were affected at several places and the flow of traffic on them was suspended. In Baluchistan, the bridge and roads have been damaged.

The government should plan ahead for the future so that natural calamities do not cause more damage to people. The paths leading to flooding rails should be inspected and the paths there should be made stronger. Areas that are prone to flooding should be notified in advance so that people can evacuate in time. Dams that have been destroyed should be investigated and strict action should be taken against those responsible so that future construction of dams can be better than before.
