Foreigners unharmed as two Militants killed in Karachi terror attack

KARACHI: All five foreign nationals, who were travelling in a vehicle attacked by terrorists in Landhi’s Mansehra Colony, were safe and shifted to an undisclosed location.

According to the police, the vehicle was targeted in a suicide attack in the wake of which two terrorists were killed.

The police said that the van was targeted by the terrorists who were on a bike. They added that a bag filled with grenades and Kalashnikov from the crime scene.

SSP Malir Tariq Mastoi confirmed that it was a suicide attack. The police official said that another vehicle was also damaged in the explosion.

Gunfire sounds were also heard, they said.

The injured are being shifted to the nearby hospital, according to police while the nationality of the victims has not been ascertained so far.

The law enforcement agency also shared that the foreign nationals were working in the export processing zone.

Meanwhile, Jinnah Hospital officials told Balochistan Express that three injured were submitted in the facility out of which two are critically injured. The injured were identified as Noor Muhammad, Langar Khan and Salman Rafiq.

They also confirmed that no foreign national was injured in the accident.
