Mounting tension in the Middle East has been posing a great threat to the regional peace and security and global peace and stability as well. Connection of nuclear capability having countries including warring Iran and Israel; alliance made on the basis of skirmish along with deep rooted conflicts have made the situation highly volatile and hot blooded.

Top of FormAfter the failure of diplomatic efforts and to appease the situation or commitment to peaceful resolution between Tel Aviv and Palestinian authority, it has become essential for the international community to take bold and concrete steps to deescalate the tension; and to bring peace to the region and to evaporate mistrust promotion of dialogue with sincere dedication is essential. Entire world acknowledge that war is not a solution of any conflict, but UNO together with superior powers and mediators they must have to proof their pledge and devotion for peace.

Tensions in the Middle East from Persian Gulf to the sea shores of Red sea have intensified further due to Iran’s hawkish actions against Israel, drawing both support and condemnation from different countries and groups in the region. On one side Syria, Yemen and Hamas and Hezbollah organizations are supporting and standing with Iran, while on the other hand United States accompanied by KSA are upright openly with Israel and criticized Tehran’s belligerent actions. Anti-Missile system which was already deployed and installed by the US successfully thwarted the pugnacious attack. The USA after military bases from Jordanian soil can potentially bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, and Qatar if needed. Still, Gulf nations are hesitant to engage in a direct conflict with Iran due to the fear of retaliation and the destructive consequences it could bring.

The possibility of a nuclear conflict adds another layer of complexity to the situation. Several countries, including the US, Russia, China, Britain, France, India, Pakistan, and Israel, possess nuclear capabilities. The threat of nuclear warfare looms large, with Russian President Putin warning of potential nuclear weapon usage if the US deploys missiles in Eastern Europe. The devastating impact of nuclear weapons on the world emphasizes the need for diplomatic solutions and peaceful resolutions to conflicts. Israel, despite being a small country, is believed to have secret nuclear capabilities to deter potential threats. While Israel and the US oppose any nuclear attacks on Iran due to its vast size and potential repercussions, tensions remain high between the countries. Past conflicts have seen Israel targeting Iran’s nuclear sites, with limited success due to the underground nature of these facilities.

The situation has raised concerns among European countries about the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel and the potential for it to escalate into a larger conflict. There are fears that if the situation worsens, it could spiral into a third world war. On one side, there could be the United States and its allies, while on the other side, countries like Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Iraq could align. China, on the other hand, may choose a more neutral stance to maintain stability in the region.
