QUETTA: Balochistan cabinet approved the draft bill of University of Makran Act 2020 and Cabinet also approved the formation of Fisheries Patrolling Staff as a force under the Balochistan Fisheries Ordinance 1971 Amendment.

Provincial cabinet’s 40 agenda points meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
Cabinet approves policy for long stay of foreign investors in the province. The approval is aimed at promoting investment in Balochistan. The Cabinet also approved implementation of Balochistan Health Card Program and its immediate launch. The facility will benefit 1.8 million families in Balochistan.
Cabinet approves bills for declaring Shaheed Sikandar Zehri Hospital Khuzdar and 50-bed Khudabadan Hospital Panjgur as Independent Hospitals. Approves Recruitment of Lady Medical Officer Specialist and Teaching Cadre Doctors and Staff Nurses.
The initiative is aimed at addressing the shortage of doctors and medical staff in hospitals and health centers in remote areas of the province. And the health department has been directed to take strict action to ensure that doctors and medical staff are not present at the place of deployment.
The provincial cabinet also approved the provision of teacher services in schools across the province on a temporary basis under the stop-gap arrangement.
