QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani in a meeting with veteran Pakistani singer Shehzad Roy and renowned folk artist Waso pledged to help the ailing Waso who was in dare need of financial assistance.

Provincial Advisor to CM for Sports and Culture Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Chief Secretary Balochistan Fazeel Asghar and Secretary Finance Noorul Haq Baloch were also present on the occasion. Shehzad Roy briefed CM Balochistan regarding the performance of his foundation for the improvement and reform of education system at school level added his organization has launched an awareness campaign over protection of children’s rights.

“Sindh Government has made part of the curriculum mental and physical violence against children.” Mr. Roy added. Lauding the efforts of Shahzad Roy the Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani has expressed will work with his Foundation for Educational Reforms and Protection of Children’s Rights in Balochistan.
“Incumbent provincial government has allocated major funds for the educational development in Balochistan.

Appreciating the art of folk artist Waso, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government was dedicated to highlighting the culture and tourism of the province around the world while a welfare fund of Rs 200 million has been set up for the patronage of artists and a fund of Rs 5 crore has been set up for artists infected by Coronavirus. However the Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan assured that the government would provide financial assistance to Waso fir his medical treatment.
