QUETTA: The leaders of United Vegetable and Fruit Union Alamgir Khan, Naik Mohammad and others have appealed to the government to allow business in Hazar Ganji Action Ground till the expansion of Hazarganji Vegetable Market.

“In Hazar Ganji vegetable market, commission agents, mash-e-khor and chabari sellers have been doing business with their help but for the last two and a half years, certain groups have been harassing them to rent at the government action ground.” They said while addressing a news conference on Tuesday at Quetta Press Club.

They further said, the action ground has become controversial due to rent, which is feared to have left thousands unemployed hence the government should allow them to continue business without any rent till expansion of the vegetable market.
