QUETTA: Border officials of neighboring countries Pakistan and Iran have get-together on Wednesday, during which different aspects including bordering affairs and illegal movements at border were discussed.

QUETTA: Border officials of neighboring countries Pakistan and Iran have get-together on Wednesday, during which different aspects including bordering affairs and illegal movements at border were discussed.

Assistant Commissioner Taftan Muhammad Waris was leading the Pakistan delegation, while Tehsildar Zahoor Ahmed, Risaldar Major Akbar Khan Sanjrani, In-charge Rah-e-Dari gate Mir Elahi Bux Notezai and other security officials were among the delegation.

The delegation met Iranian representative Mahmood Asadi at Rah-e-Dari gate and discussed with different issues pertains to border security and affairs.

During the meeting the Iranian authorities have handed over 118 Pakistani nationals including women and children, about which they claimed they had captured them from different areas, where they were living without valid travel documents.

Later the all deportees were screened and shifted to quarantine center in Taftan.
