QUETTA: Armed men barged inside a house in Nohkani area of Dera Bugti on Thursday night killing a man, his two wives and two daughters while their relative’s vehicles was targeted in a landmine blast when they were in-way to Nohakani, the blast left one dead and three injured.

Armed men ambushed the residence of Jojar Bugti relative of a surrendered commander in Nohkani Dera Bugti on Thursdaynight and opened indiscriminate firing on sleeping family members of Jojar Bugti,

“As result of firing Jojar Bugti, his two wives and two daughters were killed on the spot and his youngest son injured in the attack, the attackers manages to escape after attacking the family.” Local officials said.

Rescue workers and Forces reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Hospital.

Jojar Bugti was the relative of Wadera Ismael Khan a Baloch Separatist fighter who recently quit armed struggle against the state and surrendered.

Meanwhile Wadera Ismael Khan Bugti’s vehicle was targeted in a landmine blast while he was coming to Nohkatni after hearing the shooting. As a result of the blast one gunman of Ismael Khan Bugti was killed while three others injured.

So far no group claimed responsibility of the attack but Baloch separatists group BRA carried-out various attacks in Sui and Dera Bugti.

Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the killing of innocent women and children and land mine blast attack.

“Terrorists attacked unarmed women and children in the dark of night that shows their coward act, but these attacks can’t halt the way of peace in Balochistan.” Sarfaraz Bugti said.

Lashing out on Brahmdagh Bugti, Home Minister said, the attackers were on pay roll of so-called Nationalist Leader Brhamdagh Bugti, but the state will take revenge of their brutalities against the people of Dera Bugti.

Later on the injured had been shifted to Punjab for better medical care due to their critical wounds.
